Getting Started


The purpose of the Navigation section is to provide you with information that will help you use

In the Site Help, topics are listed on the left side of the page. To read about a topic, click on the section name for that topic. Each section contains links at the top. Click on any link to go directly to that part of the page.

Most pages within this website have tabs at the top of the page. These tabs are the main navigation tabs and clicking on the tabs will take you to the selected page. Some pages also have menu tabs on the left side of the page. These menu tabs assist you in moving around within a specific section.

Things to Know...
  • Page Refresh – Some fields in are related to each other in such a way that when you enter a value into a field, the entire page automatically refreshes (updates) itself in order to fill other fields. When the page refreshes, your screen might blink, but is normal and does not mean there is a problem.
  • Yellow Triangle - The yellow triangle symbol will appear at the top of the page if there is a problem with information you entered (or did not enter). If the yellow triangle appears, so will a message explaining the problem and how to correct it.
  • Red Asterisk - Fields which have a red asterisk (*) beside them must have information entered into that field. Not all fields on all pages are required, but any with a red * next to the field name must be completed before you can save the page.
  • Help - A Help link is included at the top of most pages. Clicking this link will open a new window that contains information about how the page works. When you are finished using Help, close the Help window and you will be navigated back to the page you were on before you clicked on Help.

The purpose of the Registration section is to get your information into so that you are able to match your skills with available jobs. There are two ways to register:
  1. Online
  2. At a Workforce Solutions Office

The Registration section collects information about you and the type of work you want. Then, the system creates a resumé and your first matching preference. After you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation message letting you know that you have successfully registered. The confirmation contains links to other sections of the system where you can add additional information about your skills and the type of work you are seeking.

If you do not have a User ID and Password for but you have previously registered with a Workforce Solutions Office, you can obtain a User ID and Password by contacting your nearest Workforce Solutions Office. As well, you can update your personal information and your job search preference information.

If you already have a User ID and Password, you can logon to the system, update your personal and job search preference information, and search for jobs. After logging on, you will go to the Home Page and then you will be able to access all features and functions. Back to Top
