Dispensing medications to monitoring patient health and progress to maximize their response to the medication. Prescription Verification and Validation. Educate consumers and patients on the use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, and advise physicians, nurses, and other health professionals on drug decisions. Provide expertise about the composition of drugs, including their chemical, biological, and physical properties and their manufacture and use. Training Pharmacist Interns and Technicians. Record Keeping of Prescriptions dispensed and Inventory Logs as per the State and federal laws. Protecting the patient health information as per HIPAA.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent In Pharmacy with 5 years of Experience.
Must Be a Registered Pharmacist in the State Of Texas.
Supervisory Experience Required
Full Time - 30 hours or more per week
