Job Description

Position: Finance Director/Grant Writer
Salary Range: $35,000 - $40,000

Experience Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. A Bachelorís degree in accounting or finance preferred (year for year experience may substitute), with a minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Grant writing and management a plus.

Job Responsibilities included:

1. Prepare all budgets and budget requests
2. Maintain all financial records
3. Prepare payroll and all related reports. Prepare payroll deposits
4. Prepare payroll and all related reports, 941 quarterlies, Workerís Comp quarterlies, W-2s, W-3, and W-4s, etc.
5. Prepare deposits.
6. Record all In-Kind contributions and volunteer hours
7. Compose and mail thank you letters
8. Responsible for accounts payable and receivables
9. Prepare grant applications for private foundations, state and federal government for planning assistance and/or funding
10. Manage grants & meet reporting requirements
11. Coordinate with the E. D., act as liaison with private funding sources, federal, state, and local agencies in matters concerning the coordination of funding assistance
12. Assist with research and studies in order to determine the feasibility of funding applications.
13. Gather and analyze cost and program information in relation to funding
14. Maintain mailing lists
15. Attend staff meetings and board meetings.
16. Assist in fund raisers, preparing mass mailings for donations and ticket sales, produce all documentation for receipting and tracking auction items.
17. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
