General Description of Duties




A Magnolia Market Guest Services Specialist serves as a liaison, providing customers with information to address inquiries regarding products and services.



Reporting Relationship






This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities




• Support Magnolia mission


• Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls, emails, and live chats


• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction


• Provide information about Magnolia products and services


• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools


• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution


• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

Qualifications




The guest services specialist must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience




Local candidates strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Language Skills




Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.



Reasoning Ability




Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.



Computer Skills




To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Docs.
