Job Description

Direct Care Staff & Site Supervisor ~ Hiring Event @ WFS-Conroe

Job sites to the Conroe (77301) and Woodlands (77380) Areas.


- Coaches and mentors direct support staff.
- Works to create a positive work environment and proper deployment
of direct support staff.
- Addresses and corrects health, safety, and environmental concerns.
- Reports safety and maintenance concerns as needed.
- Ensures clinical and behavioral support objectives and goals are implemented and documented.
- Provides oversight of dietary supports, including menu planning
and grocery shopping.
- Ensures protocal for communicating medical concerns are being followed.
- Ensures medication administration records are current.
- Ensures medical appointments are scheduled and met.
- Submit Trust Fund requests as needed.
- Collects and reports billing, receipts, census, and recreation calendar
- Implements fiscal processes and loss control programs to ensure appropriate allocation of financial resources.
- Ensures routine vehicle maintenance is performed.
- Monitors employee , Teletime reports, and Punch Correction sheets.
- Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Attends and participates in site meetings, including completing required training.


- Provides assistance to person(s) served in order to promote their physical, social, and psychological well being.
- Interacts frequently and positively with person(s) served and support staff
to promote the rights of the person(s) served to achieve an
enhanced quality of life.
- Follow agency procedures to promote optimum health care and behavioral supports to maintain the well being of person(s) served.
- Follow agency procedures to promote optimum safety practices to provide
a safe environment.
- Completes all documentation as required to ensure quality services.
- Other duties as assigned.


• Performs light plumbing on toilets, sinks, shower/tubs, and other as needed
• Respond to possible emergency repair requests on evenings and weekends
• Change furnace filters on a regular basis (at least every 2 months)
• Check and maintain water temperatures in homes every month
• Complete general carpentry duties
• Complete minor electrical repairs
• Contact appropriate supervisor(s), Protective services, and law enforcement (if necessary) immediately related to suspected
abuse or neglect of the persons served
• Record and report medical and safety issues. Respond to medical and safety issues to ensure proper treatment. Contact
appropriate supervisor(s) and ensure documentation is complete
• Implement universal precautions pertaining to personal care, first aid, and communicable diseases
• Report vehicle needs to supervisor
• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the truck
• Document on mileage and fuel records
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum age requirement is 18 years. Must have working knowledge of painting, electrical, AC/Heating, refrigeration, auto mechanics,
yard work techniques and related tools. Working knowledge of repair procedures for walls, flooring, windows, doors, and other hardware.

High School Diploma or GED, as applicable per program requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license from state of residence, as applicable per program requirements.

Candidates must pass background check. Convictions will be reviewed
on a case by case basis; convictions will not necessarily bar a candidate's employment.
