Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The purpose of this position is to repair and maintain our Company's facilities at Lake Limestone. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to 1) maintaining the dam, assist in maintaining paved and gravel roads, maintaining public housing, main office and maintenance facilities, 2) maintaining public use areas by mowing, weed eating, picking up trash and cleaning restrooms, 3) assist in the construction of facilities and structures, 4) maintaining equipment by changing oil and grease and making minor repairs and 5) performing welding tasks on structures, equipment and other items as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to recognize the meaning of common two or three syllable words; ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations; ability to write simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and/or series of numbers, names, and addresses. The employee normally performs the duty assignment after receiving detailed instructions as to methods, procedures, and desired end results. These detailed instructions normally allow little room for deviation. The immediate supervisor may, at times, provide close and constant review while work is under way and when the assignment is completed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or maintenance processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to 10th grade.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: A valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record.
