Essential Job Requirements
Educates and inspires customers by facilitating workshops on a wide range of topics including jobs search strategies, resume preparation, interviewing techniques, life and employability skills, etc.
Conducts workshops or seminars for a diverse group of clientele - universal population, UI claimants, welfare recipients, young adults and programmatic customers.
Reviews and finalizes resumes for customers by the established deadlines.
Develop and update materials for workshops and orientations.
Facilitates orientation sessions and/or overviews to explain program objectives.
Data enters customer information into Work-in-Texas and TWIST accurately and in a timely manner.
Demonstrates knowledge of services, labor market information, and multi-program services within the scope of duties.
Demonstrates effective presentation and group management skills.
Demonstrates general knowledge of program regulations, policies and procedures for determination of program eligibility and various labor laws as required.
Demonstrates ability to accurately prepare, either in manual or automated format, all forms and records.
Prepares and maintains workshop records, reports, and evaluations as required.
Submits appropriate program applications, forms, and records in a timely manner.
Administers appropriate assessments, interprets and communicates assessment results to the customer and program staff.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to prepare appropriate program service plans.
Demonstrates knowledge of, and complies with, applicable program policies and procedures.
May provide training to co-workers.
May conduct employer workshops.
Maintains accurate and appropriate files and records for individual customers.
Reviews appropriate program reports to determine program effectiveness.
Effectively counsels customers and provides direct feedback to customers and program staff.
Ensures confidentiality of all information.
Regular and consistent attendance is required.
Perform other duties as assigned; based on operational needs.
Supervisory Experience Required
Between $14.00 / HR and $18.25 / HR
