Performs manual labor along a production line or in the prep area. Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery. May perform minor repairs as necessary.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operate production line machinery.
Perform prep work as needed.
All production employees are responsible for quality control. Will be required to make adjustments as necessary or instructed to produce product within specifications. Will need to report product outside of specifications to shift supervisor.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Complete daily production logs.
Maintain a clean work area.
Additional Job Requirements:
Perform back-up for absent employees and assist in other departments, as requested.

3+ Years experience in a Manufacturing Facility
High school diploma or its equivalent
Read and write English
Ability to communicate clearly and competently with others
Ability to work a flexible schedule (willing to work off shifts and weekend)
A hard working, dependable, safety conscious individual with a strong work ethic

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 60 pounds.
Ability to work while standing for long periods of time (2 to 3 hours) and in work areas with non-controlled temperatures.
Personal protective equipment requirements may include safety glasses, ear plugs, welding & fabrication PPE, and safety shoes.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to slightly above moderate.
