Job Description

The Project Manager's primary objective is facilitating the company's implementation of technology solutions in a cost-effective way by understanding requirements, determinations of a project or program teaming, and communicating clearly to a variety of stakeholders. Responsibilities include understanding company business processes, associated automation requirements, and in-house and vendor options in order to recommend options for requirements based solutions. This position will team with the IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Application Development to collaborate with internal business customers and third-party providers throughout all projects.

Essential Functions:
Represent the IT department and will be measured on internal customer satisfaction.
Manage the interface between IT functional teams and business stakeholders to determine the most optimal approach for a particular project.
Review business processes and requirements documents plus analyzes and defines functional requirements for customer-specific development needs or integration requirements.
Participate in collaboration sessions to understand and develop customer requirements and the associated technical solution options.
Understand common and popular project implementation methodologies to provide guidance throughout all aspects of projects; this may include methodology frameworks like traditional "waterfall" such as System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Stage Gate plus more recent approaches, specifically Agile.
Assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain an integrated environment with information technology team, business unit stakeholders, and company leadership.
Expected to understand company specific business processes, related risks, and how to translate into IT service solutions.
Drive to quality results by establishing a trusted environment.
Create projects structured to facilitate group effectiveness.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in project execution including roles that implemented a technology solution.
Must have good awareness of business processes and a high level of business acumen.

BBA in Management Information Systems or related field a plus.
Master Degree a plus.
Relevant technology certifications a plus. (Examples include Project Management Professional (PMP) and SAP Certifications).
Experience with SAP a plus.
Experience in Utilities, specifically Water, is a plus.
Track record that successful business improvement implementations as a lead analyst a significant plus.

Bachelor's Degree required.

4 years experience required.
