Eagle Ford facilities have evolved over preceding years. Coupled with the rapid initial and ongoing expansion of the asset, operational and technical challenges remain to address. The position is part of the Operations Support Engineering Team within the Facilities Engineering Team. The position is expected to act as the Process Engineering focal point within the Team (and others as required) providing direction, support, design validation and approval of work. Mentoring of less experienced engineers is required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Act as Process Engineering technical focal point for team members in New Facilities Engineering / Operations Support as required.

Provide high quality engineering support, act as mentor for junior engineers.

Act as Project Manager of new builds / modifications when necessary.

Support delivery of work packages to construction by Facilities Engineering Team and others as required.

Support execution of projects within Facilities Engineering Team and others as required to ensure compliance with schedule and budget.

Provide engineering support during project construction and commissioning.

Provide complete documentation including P&IDs, PFDs, vessel and equipment drawings, data sheets, calculations, etc for Management of Change and project files

Ensure project close out occurs in a timely manner with documented lessons learned for future activities.

Responsible for process and operational support of facilities assigned by route

Maintains situational awareness of project status within Facilities Engineering Team and others as required.

Experience with design and operation of all systems on central facilities and well pads such as pressure vessels, tanks, piping, PSVs, rotating equipment, reciprocating compressors, flares etc.

Ensures Facilities Engineering Supervisor has situational awareness across projects.

Reviewer & approver of asset core process drawings.

Reviewer of MOC action items.

Identify and implement long term solutions to enhance Eagle Ford's operations through safer operation / cost reduction / improved production.

Support and provide technical guidance during PHAs for facilities and projects.

Leads standardization of equipment/facility designs, calculations, and documentation efforts within the team.

Participate actively in industry forums to maintain contacts network and share learnings.

Minimum Requirements

Professionally qualified engineer with 15 or more years' experience in process engineering for oil and gas facilities required.

3 or more years of experience in resource plays with experience in facility design, operations and maintenance required.

Experienced in project management practices.

Strong relationship builder and effective communicator.

Ability to manage multiple activities, remain calm in a high pressure working environment.

Safety focused.
