Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sells company products or services and provides assistance in support of pre-sales, post-sales, and sales activities. Maintains technical expert knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Maintaining contact with existing customer base and supporting their needs and requirements.
• Communicates directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered.
• Contacts potential and existing customers, researches customer needs, and develops application of products and services. Develops new accounts.
• Operates PC based computer and Microsoft office software and appropriate business related software.
• Implementing the use of Customer Resource Management (CRM) tools.
• Processes sales data, prepare correspondence, generates sales progress reports, sales commission reports, routine reports on market trends, and other routine sales related records and reporting.
• Provides input to development of new products to the Executive Management.
• Maybe required to read process sheets, blueprint, sketches of product to determine manufacturing procedures to be done.
• Proofreads records or forms. Maintains related sales files and office records.
• Provides assistance in the best application of products or services.
• Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required.
• May coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs.
• Initiates sales proposals. Closes transactions and takes orders. Prepares quotes and prices to customers. Meets established sales goals.
• Maybe required to travel to customers locations to establish or maintain relationships.
• Will have assigned customer base to maintain, cultivate, and prospect.
• Will be required to interface with the Churchfield Group to develop and maintain accounts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma required with Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Computer literacy required: Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, Power Point, Word and Data Base software / Crystal Reports.

LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Demonstrated High School level math and college level reading and comprehension skills. Knowledge of the basic principles of Accounting desired. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers, departments, supervisors, customers and vendors as required.

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
The performance of this position may occasional require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

On job training at CTI for 1 YEAR supervised and 1 YEAR spot checked (on job).
90 day inside sales training and establish familiarity with existing customer accounts.
Basic Spring identification.
Manufacturing and Shipping
CTI Quality Control and Forms.
QMS Awareness.
WILL BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED, DIRECTED OR ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR OR MANAGERS/OWNERS.
