Job Description

Sales Manager

Job site: TX 77011 however, extensive travel will be required.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the distribution or movement of our product and services to our customers.
• Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives.
Analyze sales statistics gathered by the staff he or she supervises to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of our customers.
• Deliver profitable sales growth and operating profit consistent with (CAC)’s overall objectives with a focus on forecasting, prospecting, price management and new business development.
• Submit quotes and sell equipment, activated carbon and service to all types of industrial and food accounts.
• Answer technical questions from customers, prospects, and consultants with outside support from Application Engineers, Field Services, or Product Managers and recommends specific products and services as solutions to purification challenges.
• Establish and maintain relationships with multiple key decision makers at current and potential customers, using the Carbon Activated Corporation organization to strengthen and broaden those relationships when appropriate.
• Understand the value of Carbon Activated products and application technology in developing pricing recommendations.
Recognize and expand opportunities at existing customers bringing solutions and value to customers.
• Develop an account plan for each account, incorporating a fully developed customer needs analysis, including long- and short-term goals and tactics, pricing strategy and negotiate customer agreements and contracts.
• Understand competitive activity and strategies within assigned area/group of customers.
Monitor competitive activity and maintain competitive intelligence databases.

• Master’s degree is required
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required;
Experience working with a variety of functions at the customer level; i.e. Technical, Purchasing, Engineering, Business Leadership.
Experience meeting Sales Goals, Territory Management, Presentation Skills, Performance Management, Building Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Negotiation, Results Driven, Sales Planning, Managing Profitability.
• Creative spirit combined with excellent organization skills.
• The ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential

• Fluency in languages spoken in foreign countries where we are located, a plus.

Additional Pay Details Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
